I have always been intrigued by and drawn to shadowy silhouettes. The moment when a figure becomes just a shadow, loosing distinction and becoming barely identifiable. These miniature paintings are stylized silhouettes capturing the essence of theoretical individuals. These shadowed silhouettes are without race or religion.
