Collected over a series of years and not originally meant for display these photos capture the essence of my practice. As an artist my job is to notice the things that no one else can and translate them for myself and the masses. We live in a society where we are constantly told how dangerous things are and how different we are. We are programmed to distrust each other and to live in fear.

But I see togetherness and community everywhere I go. And those are the moments that I desire to capture and share with the world. These black and white images are my attempt at stealing moments of community for posterity and remembrance.
